Ninja from NTI

We all know the importance of personal security these days. With all our portable devices, more and more of our data travels with us all around town and around the world. Besides schlepping a laptop with us, more and more people choose to keep and carry their data on portable USB devices. The USB flash drives are so small, they are easy to lose. So it’s important to make sure if they fall into the wrong hands, your personal information is not on public display. That’s where the Ninja comes in handy.

This is a simple software that protects your data. Upon installation, you can select how large or small you want your private and public partitions to be. This software is compatible with FAT, FAT 32, and NTFS file systems. Simply select the one you desire. You will also be asked for a password so you can keep your private partition private.

Once you have installed Ninja on your system, you will be able to easily access your USB drive. The main menu of the software offers several options. You can Open Ninja, which, when prompted for your password, allows you to access the data on the private partition, Close Ninja, which will close the private partition so no one can see or access your data but your public partition will still be viewable, Remove Ninja, which will completely erase all the data from the entire USB drive if you decide you want to change the drive, and you can Create Ninja on a USB drive.

When you Create Ninja on your drive, don’t worry that you have to know a lot of technical stuff. Everything is laid out right before your eyes so anyone can do this. All you have to know is how large you want your private partition to be, and what you want for your password. Then a few clicks of the mouse and you’re done.

When Ninja is installed on your portable device you can easily share your public data, however if you want to access your private partition you will have to input your password, which is encrypted by the software for added security. Now you can rest assured that if you misplace your USB drive or it is stolen, no one can see your private information.

Ninja’s are known for their stealth abilities, and that is exactly what this program is. Stealth. You won’t know it’s there, until you need it. And if your drive falls into the wrong hands, no one will know your personal data, whether it be business documents, personal papers, private financial matters, or whatever.

None of us wants our portable devices to get lost or stolen, but things happen, and Ninja offers an added assurance that what you want to be kept private, stays private.

Ninja works on USB Flash Drives, USB Pen Drives, and USB Hard Drives. If you have sensitive data, this is definitely for you. NTI Ninja lists for $24.99. I highly recommend this software. It’s easy to use and provides security and most of all, peace of mind.
