Pearls from Above

Everyone has heard of "Pearls of Wisdom"
of which they all spout.
Well, have you heard of Pearls of Joy?
which everyone wants today... (now)
no doubt.
When there are tears, we'll call them Pearls of Sorrow,
of course everyone wants to put them off....
until tomorrow.
Pearls of Contentment are hardest to come by,
they have to be learned.
Sometimes.... we have to quit asking "Why?"
Now, Pearls of Love everyone holds dear.
Little do they know these come from above,
Each and everyone a tear.
For you see He did not put Sorrow off,
when they came to scoff.
Jesus was Content, He did not ask why,
when they wanted Him to die.
In His Wisdom He gives us Faith.
Because He is Love He gives us Grace.
With great Joy should we receive
such precious gifts of pearls as these.
Everything we have, everything we are
comes from God, who is love.
For all, He shed his tears and blood.
God humbles our hearts and opens our minds,
then we can receive His Grace, Faith and Love.
The most priceless pearls of all,
these many Pearls from above.
